Refund Policy

Our Promise of Sweet Satisfaction
At Whispering Vegan, we pour our heart and soul into every single bake, ensuring it's not just delicious, but also crafted with kindness and care. Your satisfaction is incredibly important to us, and we want you to be absolutely delighted with your Whispering Vegan experience.

While we strive for perfection in every crumb, we understand that sometimes things might not be exactly as expected. Here's how we handle refunds to ensure fairness and continue spreading joy:

Quality & Freshness Concerns (Local Shop)

If you receive a product that isn't up to our usual high standards of quality or freshness, please contact us within 24 hours of collection or delivery.

Action Required: To help us understand what went wrong and improve for the future, we kindly request that you provide details and, if possible, a photograph of the item in question.

Resolution: Upon reviewing your concern, we will either offer a replacement of the product or a full or partial refund, depending on the nature of the issue. Our goal is to ensure you get the delicious experience you expect!

Order Cancellations (Local Fresh Bakes)

We start preparing our fresh ingredients for your order soon after it's placed to ensure maximum freshness. If you need to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible via phone or email.

Cancellation Confirmation: Please note that a cancellation request is only confirmed once you receive an acknowledgment and acceptance from Whispering Vegan.

Standard Orders: If you cancel with at least 48 hours' notice before the agreed-upon collection or delivery time, we will generally be able to offer a full refund.

Custom or Large Orders: Due to the specific ingredients and significant preparation time involved, these orders require more notice.

Non-Refundable Deposit: Custom orders may require a non-refundable deposit (usually 50%) at the time of booking to secure your spot and cover early preparation costs. This deposit will not be refunded upon cancellation.

Notice Period: Cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice for such orders may not be eligible for any refund beyond the initial deposit, depending on the stage of preparation and ingredients already sourced. We will discuss this with you directly at the time of cancellation.

National E-Shop & Courier Orders

For items purchased through the Whispering Vegan E-Shop and shipped via national courier (non-perishable goods):

Quality: If the product itself is faulty or defective upon arrival (not related to shipping damage), please follow the Quality Concerns procedure above within 24 hours of delivery.

Shipping Damage: As noted in our Shipping Policy, the risk of damage passes to you once the courier collects the package. We package with extreme care, but we cannot be held responsible for handling once it leaves our kitchen. If your package arrives damaged, please file a claim directly with the courier service, and we will offer any supporting documentation we can.

Whispering Pixels (Digital Products)

Our digital products are instantly available and cannot be "returned."

General Policy: All sales of Whispering Pixels digital products (like e-books, wallpapers, etc.) are final and non-refundable.

Technical Issues: If you experience a technical issue with downloading or accessing your file, please contact us immediately, and we will assist you in resolving the issue or providing a working replacement link.

No-Show / Uncollected Orders

If an order is placed for collection and is not picked up within our agreed-upon collection window, or if delivery is arranged and we are unable to complete it due to an unforeseen issue on your end (e.g., incorrect address provided, no one available to receive the order during the agreed window), we generally cannot offer a refund. This is because our products are perishable and custom-made with care.

How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds will typically be processed within 5-7 business days using the original method of payment.

For partial refunds on large or custom orders, we reserve the right to deduct any unrecoverable payment processing fees incurred during the initial transaction.

You'll receive a confirmation from us once the refund has been successfully processed.

Governing Law
This policy is governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
